Yuzu Toolbar for Clio — Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 13, 2026

The short version

We collect nothing. We transmit nothing. Everything happens in your browser.

What the extension does

Yuzu Toolbar for Clio adds a command palette, keyboard shortcuts and a link sidebar to the Clio Manage web application. When you pick an item, the extension simply opens the corresponding Clio page or triggers Clio's own built-in dialog (such as "New time entry") — exactly as if you had clicked through Clio's own menus.

Data collection

The extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, client or matter data, or browsing history. It makes no network requests of its own: no analytics, no telemetry, no remote servers, no accounts. It never reads your matters, contacts, time entries, billing records, or any other content of your Clio account.

Settings

Your preferences (pinned palette items and whether the sidebar is open) are saved using Chrome's built-in storage.sync area. This data stays inside your browser profile and, if you are signed into Chrome, is synced between your devices by Google under Google's privacy policy. We have no access to it.

Permissions

The extension requests the minimum it needs: access to Clio's own domains (app.clio.com and its regional variants for Canada, the EU and Australia) so the palette and sidebar can work on Clio pages, and storage for the settings above. It does not run on any other website.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
