We never read your accounting data, and we never see your card or email. The free features make no network requests at all. The only time the extension contacts an outside server is to check your subscription status, and only if you choose to start the optional Pro plan.
Yuzu Toolbar for Xero adds a command palette, keyboard shortcuts and a link sidebar to the Xero web application. When you pick a destination, the extension simply opens the corresponding Xero page — exactly as if you had clicked through Xero's own menus.
The extension does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data, accounting data, or browsing history. It never reads your accounting records, invoices, contacts, or any other content of your Xero organisation, and it sends none of that anywhere. The free features (command palette, keyboard shortcuts, link sidebar) make no network requests of their own: no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking.
Pro is optional. If you start a Pro trial or subscribe, payments are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. Your email and card details are entered on their secure pages and are never visible to this extension. To unlock Pro features, the extension stores a random, anonymous key on your device and uses it to ask ExtensionPay one question — whether your subscription is active. No accounting data, and nothing about how you use Xero, is ever sent to ExtensionPay, Stripe, or anyone else. See the ExtensionPay privacy policy for how they handle payment information.
Your preferences (pinned destinations, the list of organisations you add for the
organisation switcher, and sidebar state) are saved using Chrome's built-in
storage.sync area. The most recently seen organisation short code is kept in
storage.local so navigation works on pages that don't show it. This data stays
inside your browser profile and, if you are signed into Chrome, is synced between your devices
by Google under Google's privacy policy.
We have no access to it.
The extension's features run on Xero's own domains (go.xero.com and
reporting.xero.com) and it never reads any other website's content. It also includes
a small component on extensionpay.com, used solely for the optional Pro payment flow
described above. It requests storage for your settings and the anonymous Pro key.
Nothing else.
